About The Dare To Lead Program

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals. The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. 

This course includes group discussion, self-reflection, experiential learning, and short videos hosted by Brené on the four skill sets of courage:

1. Rumbling with Vulnerability: Leaning into (and staying with) tough interactions that involve risk, uncertainty, and emotional exposure while staying true to who we are. 2. Living into our Values: Walking our talk about what we hold as most important, making sure our thoughts, intentions, words, and actions align with our values. 3. BRAVING Trust: Learning and practicing the key aspects of trust and putting them to work as the glue that holds our teams and organizations together. 4. Learning to Rise: Developing the skills to get back up after a fall so we're willing to risk falling again. Re-writing the stories and endings that no longer serve us. You will learn, practice, and hone these skills in an atmosphere with people from various walks of life. Your experiences (and theirs) will make this a unique learning environment where you'll leave with new language and rumble skills, operationalized values, and the confidence to apply Brené's tools and courage framework to how you live, lead, work, and even parent.

The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Individuals who successfully complete the full 24-hour Dare to Lead™ program will receive a certificate of completion and are allowed to put the Dare to Lead Trained badge on their LinkedIn account.
